Observant Waitress At Fish & Co Bugis Junction

We had dinner last night at Fish & Co and I am pleased to be able to share my experience. The waistress's attention to small details is commendable and deserving of bouquets.

Name : Gareth
Date & Time : 22/02/2009
Place/Website address : Fish & Co Bugis Junction
Person Serving Me : Nam
What Did I Intend to Buy/What I Bought : Dinner

My Experience : Service at the Fish & Co Bugis Junction outlet was as expected, pretty decent. We did not have to wait too long for our food, our request for extra condiments was quickly despatched to us and despite a birthday party going on, the staff were attentive to other diners. However, what really made an impression was how Nam, our waitress, paid attention to the fact that I took hold of the dessert menu and was scanning it. She pointed out the three that were cheesecakes, and even pointed out two that if we were chocolate lovers, we should give either of them a try. She also informed us that if we were interested, there was a 20% discount on the desserts in the menu. Although we did not order the desserts as we were too full, her attention to detail definitely made a difference.

Initially, I did not get her name, but as I paid the bill, I asked a member of staff who the lady who served us was. He very quickly gave us her name without even asking why, probably very confident that his colleagues were giving good service, and quite rightly so!

Nam deserves commendation for being observant and paying attention to detail. In fact, most of the staff there seemed cheerful and looked genuinely happy to be working there.

Overall rating : 1 1/2 Bouquets. It is the little things that count, such as paying attention to the ones you are serving, being as fast as possible with the food and still keeping that smile on your face.

Fish & Co Bugis Junction, where the waitress, Nam, who served us was observant and recommended desserts without being pushy. Deserves 1 1/2 Bouquets
